Update on the DIRECTV recognition by the Sony TV issue. The firmware update has taken place in the last week and the new firmware has resolve the issue. Really good news because I wanted to keep the TV.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. While we are glad you like the outstanding picture quality and superb features of our X900H, we are sorry you are having a picture issue when using your DIRECTV satellite box. A firmware update version v6.0414 is now available to resolve this issue. You should have received a notification on your TV to download the latest firmware, just make sure you have an active internet connection.

WE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WE HAD TO RESET EVERYTHING INCLUDING ARE WIFI AS WELL AS DIRECT TV BOX THAT WORKED:)
