Hi CuriousCat, thank you so much for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we cannot set the voice input or Google Assistant function of our X900H to always on. And yes, you will need to press the MIC button or Google Assistant button on your remote control to activate this feature. If you are looking for a hands free google assistant feature, we do have this on our x950H series, A9G and our new 2021 A90J Master Series OLED. I hope this helps! Thanks! - Romeo
