I have the same model and the same dark strip you describe and I’ve come to the conclusion it’s normal. The aspect ratios are so varied given the many sources and content available these days it makes sense that they will rarely match up perfectly with your screens aspect ratio. I’ve payed attention to every photo taken of this tv and I see the same look in every one. If you discover a different explanation, please share. I’m loving my TV in the meantime.
