The a6000 is a great camera without a doubt. Best choice when on that budget. If you have the flexibility to spend more the a6300 to me was a better choice mainly due to the weather sealing and the additional autofocus points. It’s a beefier and sturdier camera to me. Fits better in my hand...but if you’re on a budget and don’t mind putting in a little extra work with focusing on your target with the center of the camera and then shifting your camera to you ideal spot then you can’t go wrong with the a6000
