I would recommend the sony for multiple reasons. Its cheaper, mirrorless, has more capabilities, and is an all around better camera in my opinion. And you can get a lens adapter and put just about any lens, old or new, from any brand, on the sony a6000. I bought it amd couldnt be happier. Another tip: try to wait for someone to return one, so you get the open box discount, I got the option with the extra 55-210mm lens for the same price as the camera alone because of the open box discount.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Sony is a great camera that is light years ahead of the Cannon. The traditional mirror type cameras are very old school and the mirror less technology is leaving them in the dust. Small light weight, quite, and ex termly intelligent.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are looking for something more compact and easy to carry I would highly recommend this. Pictures shot from this camera are superb. Just in terms of portability and image quality I would rate this higher. I hope this helps.
