A:AnswerHi bows, Most of the Sony Blu-ray players uses HDMI for TV connection, it won't work with coaxial as it transmits high definition signal. If you are looking for a coaxial disc player, there are Sony DVD players that support coaxial connection. A:AnswerMine will resume from where I left off. I hit the play button to take out of standby and started where I left off. Just make sure you don't eject the DVD.
