“My '15 Sentra has bluetooth built in from the factory. Do I need the mic that comes with this unit or will it work with what is already there? My install isn't until mid January.”

Yes you can use your own microphone but mine I use the microphone that comes with the device and it was great, the voice that coming out was so clear.
