“I have an iPhone 12 and it will not pair w this boombox, which I just got for xmas. I’ve tried the erase/reset on boombox, I’ve got the latest OS, followed all the troubleshooting—no dice. Pairs fine w roommate’s iphone11. Should I return the boombox?”

You may not be holding the Bluetooth button on the Sony long enough to get it to start pairing. I thought the same thing when trying to pair with my iPhone X.
