In the paperwork that comes with the radio it says, you can set the unit to play tracks or files repeatedly or in random order while a disc/USB device is stopped. (Under selecting play mode) It continues on with instructions of how to do it.

Yes, there is a button that lets you choose repeat, repeat all, randomize and maybe some other choices on playback.

Based on the manufacturer specs, this boombox does have the CD playback option. Thank you!
