A:AnswerI turned it up as loud as it would go and it was very loud but the sound was clear. Not sure what size group you want to use it for but I think it would work for a medium size group. If you had it outside, I am sure the neighbors would hear it clearly.
A:AnswerYou may not be holding the Bluetooth button on the Sony long enough to get it to start pairing. I thought the same thing when trying to pair with my iPhone X.
A:AnswerI bought this for my mother so I don't have the boombox in hand it's with her, but as I remember when I opened the box and took it out it was a black plastic, even the speakers were covered in black plastic, not cloth. As best as I can remember after seeing it quickly, it was Not made out of a metal source or otherwise, just plastic.
