A:AnswerHi Buffgirl23, Thank you for your inquiry! locate the "SUBWOOFER OUT" port on your Yamaha RN303 receiver and use a subwoofer cable (RCA cable) to connect the "SUBWOOFER OUT" on the Yamaha RN303 to the "LINE IN" on the Sony SACS9 subwoofer. Once connected, power on both the receiver and the subwoofer. You may need to configure the subwoofer settings on the Yamaha RN303 to ensure it is properly recognized and integrated into your audio setup. Hope this helps!
You’re going to love the room filling sound that Mica-Reinforced drivers can deliver. You’ll experience deeper, more precise bass reproduction than ever before and be amazing as your music and movies come alive!
Regards,
Sam
A:AnswerInput impedance of amplifier cannot be 6 ohm. No way! Input of speaker can be 6 ohm. Not input of amplifier. But input of speaker (subwoofer) is driven by amplifier, receiver output drives input of subwoofer amplifier. so people need to know what input impedance of amplifier, not speaker.
A:AnswerMatt, the SA-CS9 Model does not have any lifts already on the sub. It comes with little peel rubber feet you can attach so you should be good on installing some isolation feet. I wouldn't screw any feet into the bottom but maybe some strong adhesive would do.
A:AnswerIf your soundbar has a designated input for a subwoofer that is labeled as such then yes you can. Otherwise if you have a stereo system that has an input for a subwoofer that you are using with your setup you can use that as well.
A:AnswerUse a RCA cable from the subwoofer output from your Denon receiver, to the RCA input on the back of the Sony SA-CS9 subwoofer. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerI'm only speculating, but I believe the factory diameter measurements might have been taken a bit differently than yours. The 115 W is probably the electrical plug watts not the 70 watt output sound watts stated on the back of the subwoofer.
A:AnswerIf by powered you mean it has its own power AC source, then yes, but it is not very powerful. Does well enough in a smallish home theater room (12 x 15 feet)
A:AnswerYes you can hook it up to just your tv. Buy a rca Y connector and plug it into the audio outputs on the back of your tv. Then plug the rca cable from you powered sub into the other end of the Y connector. It should work after doing that.
A:AnswerI used a regular RCA cable and plugged it into the 'subwoofer' jack on my receiver. Subwoofers are mono units, so you do not need 2 wires coming from them or 2 RCA plugs plugged into your receiver. use either the red or white side.
