It can be used for a computer, as I sometimes use it for games I have on steam, best to make sure you have Bluetooth on your computer or a micro USB cable connected from the pc to your controller.

Yes it can be used with a PC, with a Google search you can figure out what drivers you need and how to install them. It’s pretty straightforward however I don’t believe it will connect via Bluetooth unless you have a specific dongle. It’s the one they sell for 3rd party controllers to work on Nintendo switch. If you connect via usb there’s also an application called DS4windows that will allow you to test the controller and modify button layout, LED brightness, and LED color.
