• A:Answer yes. the controllers are bluetooth. Just google how to sync a new controller to your console and you'll be all set. Chances are you just need to plug the usb into the console, connect the controller and turn both on. That should pair them

• A:Answer You should be able to, but safest bet is to use the cable that came with the console, if you use any aftermarket cable it could cause damage to the controller because of how it's wired internally.
