QuestionHow do I use my Comcast remote and my Sony remote to turn on my DVD player once they've been programmed?I recently relocated and have a new TV service, Comcast. My DVD player is programmed into the TV remote but I can't get the DVD player to play a DVD. The player light turns on, but the TV doesn't go to the DVD, it just keeps playing the TV show.

- Answer You have to change the input in the TV to the DVD Player for the signals to be displayed. Since the TV shows are appearing, the TV is tuned to the Comcast input. Using the TV Remote, first change the input to the DVD Player input and then start playing discs in it.

- Answer On your universal remote it is vid 3. Sony is no help what so ever. When I tried to hook up my Sony DVD player. I went on line and put the model # in the back of their diagram did not match my back of the DVD player. I had in and out. I only had out plug holes. Called and still waiting for them to get back to me that was 3 weeks ago. I finally got it to work it took me hours. I have Directv and I didn't want to unplug anything and lose Directv.
