A:AnswerNO IT DOES NOT SUPPORT CC, for the thousands of older TV series ans movie that HAVE CC but not in the program menu SONY does not function. Some where in the SONY org some one decided too save 5 cents per title and not support CC. My 15 year old Sony DVD player Does support CC on the DVDs. THe newer IMPROVED models DO NOT

A:AnswerHi Stanton, We are sorry to hear this issue. You may try to power reset your DVD player and see if this will fix the issue. Unplug the AC power cord from the wall outlet and all connected devices to the player. Wait for at least 1 minute before plugging back everything. Make sure to plug in the power cord in a working wall outlet. Turn it on and test the player.
