- Answer This does not play Blu-ray discs. It does play DVDs. The DVDs can be upconverted to HD which is near bluray quality on an HDTV.

- Answer It will "output" audio to any make of amplifier that can accommodate HDMI or regular RCA jacks. It does NOT have an optical S/PDIF audio output, so if that's what you need, keep looking.

QuestionI bought a DVP-SR51OH DVD PLAYER . I can't get it to play our CD-Rs that I burned our photos on. It says,'cannot play this disk'. I put a DVD in it and it plays, but when I put another exact DVD disk with the exact format it will not play it.
