Camera video quality is better than iPhone for filming sports. For me, am still getting use to my new iPhone 8’s. I was record.g grand daughter’s b-ball game-found it difficult to make adjustments like closeups wide angles etc. With the Sony HandyCam, I found it easy to do all that w/o jittery & out focus videos. I highly recommend. I got decent deal Cyber Monday deal from Best Buy, too. I recommend wait one their sales.
