• If your sound bar is plugged into your TV using the HDMI arc port the TV volume controls will adjust the sound on the sound bar. MUST USE ARC PORT FOR THIS FUNCTION TO WORK. Hope this helps.

• I have cable service and the sound level can be controlled by my cable remote and also the remote for the blue ray player. Other features are controlled by the included sound bar remote.
