For me, I have a wall mount TV. I used velcro loops to secure the sound bar to the mounting frame of the TV, behind the TV. It is not visible looking at the TV. The wireless subwoofer is installed about 20 feet away. I did not use an extra mount. My recollection is it came with a template to use anchors (drilled screws) into your wall if you want to install it that way. Its light enough so it wouldn't pull out. The slots on the back of the sound bar are key hole shaped. Head of the screw goes into the large hole, then bar is slid down approx 1/2".

Please refer to this link for the step by steps procedure on how to mount the soundbar to the wall: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4748/e34a75abf7aac4f23b7cd29347800824/47487571M.pdf (see page 17) Notes: -Prepare screws (not supplied) that are suitable for the wall material and strength. As a plasterboard wall is especially fragile, attach the screws securely in the wall beam. Install the speakers horizontally, hung by screws in studs in a continuous flat section of the wall. -Have the installation done by a Sony dealer or licensed contractor and pay special attention to safety during the installation. -Sam
