It may be the system itself. Did you try consulting the Geek Squad? Hopefully it is not defective. Ours was installed and plugged in with no complications. It is working perfectly. Try consulting them and see what they say. Maybe you could even take it into the store and have them hook it up there so that they could evaluate what's wrong. Good Luck; hope this helps a little. :)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.make sure your TV is reading Device it to pair up via Bluetooth. Otherwise you can use hdmi cord to do it. That way also means you can use your regular remote for volume control.
