Hi Ripcord, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, no. The advanced auto volume feature of the X900F only works when "TV speakers" is selected. However, this soundbar has an AUTO SOUND function that automatically optimized according to playback content and function. Hope this helps! -Sam
