“Does this unit come with the harness for the head unit? I don’t see anything mentioned about it being included in the box. I get that I need the adapter harness for my specific car.”

So it does not come with the stereo, however it was a suggested purchase when I went to check out the stereo. They sold it as "free installation with a $16 savings" or the "I'll do it myself" option suggests the $16 harness. It was worth doing it myself considering their appointment dates are a little far out, and i don't want anybody else touching my car.
