“So are these the newer versions or the older version? Do these have the micro charger and longer lasting batteries? All the comments are all mixed up..half say there newer version other half says older version.”

I ordered the complete VR system and bought these remotes because one of my sons remotes was acting up. Sony was unavailable because if the coronavirus and my son wanted them asap stop I just ordered a pair. These ones are made of a very lightweight flat finish made with cheap plastic. The ones I received with the VR came with a shiney finish that was a bit heavier and easier to hold. And they fit in your hand perfect. Best Buy said they were made for the system I had which had a 2 on it but they are not the same. They work great but slip really easy from your hands.
