These are micro USB. Just verified. So, if your research into the versions and their port types is correct, then these are the newer veresion.

Correcting my old answer: These are the new models. The product information is incorrect. This product (best buy model number and everything) is available in my local store and I bought it. Micro-USB ports and larger batteries. Incompatible with PS3. The product info is completely false advertising. There is NO charging cables included.
