Do This work as a ps5 or does it connect to the ps5? null

This connects to your Ps5 directly. It can’t and won’t work without a ps5 unless you use it for pc with an adapter.

It doesn’t receive power or work as a stand alone device you do need to plug it into your PS5 type C port however the cable is very generous in length. I can sit across my living room on the sofa & still have slack left over
