It *can* work on a laptop as long as it meets the minimum specs. You *must* have a dedicated GPU and either displayport (very, very rare on laptops) or a USB-C port that both supports displayport over USB-C *and* is connected to the dedicated GPU. HDMI and HDMI -> Displayport adapters will NOT work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It requires a DisplayPort port, which isn't common on laptops. It connects directly to the GPU. For PC use, it connects to Steam VR, so any hardware requirements for PC I would recommend looking at Valve.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I actually use it with my gaming laptop! Its works fantastic. You definitely a higher end device though for sure. As long as you have something on par with a RTX 30 series laptop gpu or better you should be fine. Even a 20 series would work, but you would definitely have to turn a lot of settings down for good speeds. Just make sure you have a display port connection, sometimes they are usbc ports that have the capability.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. While you might be able to find a laptop that meets the minimum specs, it'll be darn difficult to find one with a DisplayPort output. It's not clear if it'll work through a converter, and most laptops have HDMI ports if they have anything.
