Hello t, Thank you for considering Sony products! We appreciate your inquiry about the compatibility of the SA-RS3S wireless rear speakers with the HT-S400 soundbar. Unfortunately, the SA-RS3S speakers are not compatible with the HT-S400 soundbar. They are designed to work exclusively with select Sony soundbars, including the HT-A7000, HT-A5000, HT-A3000, and HT-S2000 models.
