  • QuestionWhat is needed to mount these to the wall? I see a lot of things that say they're mountable but no specifics on what brackets to buy.

    • Answer My Technician mounted my rear speakers to the wall using 3 inch corner braces purchased from Home Depot. The 2-1/2 inch corner braces would have probably worked; however, I wanted gold instead of silver corner braces and the store was out of that size in gold so we purchased the 3 inch corner braces. I'm no tech person but depending on how your rear speakers will be mounted (from the back or side of rear speaker) the choice of tools to use to mount your speakers will be up to you. As you can see from the pics my rear speakers were mounted from the side instead of directly from the back of the real speakers.

We're here to assist you and enhance your experience. The SA-RS3S wireless rear speaker is compatible with the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 8. Use a smartphone with the “Sony | BRAVIA Connect” app installed to perform initial setup and operations as well as configure the settings on the speaker system. Be sure to use the application to set up the speaker system even when connecting the optional speakers. Follow these instructions if you encounter an issue with the wireless connection: • Turn on the soundbar and check the wireless connection status. For details, refer to the Operating Instructions supplied with a compatible model. • Make sure that the power indicators on the speakers light in green. When the power indicators light in green, the connection between the speakers and a compatible model is established. • In the app, select Settings → Wireless Speaker Settings → Wireless Speaker Connection Settings. Follow the onscreen instructions for more details. • Check that the soundbar or optional rear speakers are updated to the latest version. Tap [Settings] - [Software update] on the remote control screen on the app. • If the optional speaker cannot be connected to the speaker system automatically, perform a manual connection. Unfortunately, adjusting related to wireless connection between the speaker system and optional subwoofer/rear speakers, audio output settings, and various advanced settings of the speaker system will not be possible without the remote control. If the connection between the speakers and your soundbar is not established automatically, you'll need to use the remote control supplied with the compatible model HT-A7000 when performing a manual connection. If you cannot perform resetting using the Home menu, press and hold the power button and - (volume down) button on the bar speaker for more than 5 seconds. Currently, the compatible Soundbars and Home Theatre Systems for the Sony BRAVIA Connect app are limited to the following models: BRAVIA Theatre Bar 8 (HT-A8000), BRAVIA Theatre Bar 9 (HT-A9000), BRAVIA Theatre Quad (HT-A9M2), HT-AX7, and HT-S2000. The STR-AZ5000ES AV Receiver can connect wirelessly to Sony's optional speakers including the SA-RS3S & SA-RS5wireless rear speakers and SA-SW3 & SA-SW5 wireless subwoofers. SA-SW5 & SA-SW3 will add deep bass sound and an optional rear speaker (SA-RS5 / SA-RS3S) offers an even more immersive cinematic experience.
