“Can the STR-AZ5000ES handle FOUR RS3S speakers? I see it can assign each speaker to either Surround or Surround Back positions but can can it handle four assignments (R&L Surround and R&L Surround Back)?”

Hi KC1212, Thank you for your inquiry! STR-AZ5000ES will only support 1 set of wireless speakers like SA-RS3S. It can be assigned as a surround or surround back speaker. The STR-AZ5000ES AV Receiver can connect wirelessly to Sony's optional speakers including the SA-RS3S & SA-RS5wireless rear speakers and SA-SW3 & SA-SW5 wireless subwoofers. SA-SW5 & SA-SW3 will add deep bass sound and an optional rear speaker (SA-RS5 / SA-RS3S) offers an even more immersive cinematic experience. Additionally, two subwoofers of the same model may be connected simultaneously to the receiver. I hope this helps! Regards, Jess
