  • QuestionJust set up this device and there is NO DISPLAY at all. Green 'on' light is there, so it's not a power source issue. The Dimmer and display buttons (both on the device and on the remote) do nothing. Any insight?

There is also a SPEAKER BALANCE option that lets you adjust the balance between left and right speakers. For SPEAKER BALANCE adjustment, you will have to navigate to the AMP MENU of the receiver.   • QuestionHi, I have two 6 ohm Sony speakers connected to the front and two 8 ohm Sony speakers connected to the rear. Is this OK for playing both A + B, and if so which amp setting is suggested, 8 or 6 ohms. Currently I have selected 8 ohms.

When you connect all the speakers with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms or higher, set the speaker impedance or “SP IMP.” to “8 OHM”. In other connections, set it to “6 OHM”. Hope this helps!   • QuestionWhen I turn my adjacent smart TV on or off, it turns my Sony STRDH190 receiver on if it's off. It the receiver is on, turning the smart TV on or off turns the receiver off. Turning the Sony receiver on or off doesn't affect the TV. How can I stop this?

    • Answer I was able to correct the problem by resetting the AT&T Uverse remote. The remote is a universal one used to operate a nearby AT&T DVR and a Sony TV. 1363
