“Will this convert my uverse cable channels to 4k also or just blue ray and netflix?”

• This is just a blu-ray player. It doesn't convert content. It upscales non 4k blu-ray/streaming to higher quality, but so does any good 4k tv these days. you can play native 4k blu-ray discs though or stream native 4k content from Netflix or Amazon Prime though. There is nothing this will do for your cable box and regular tv channels.
