“Loading tray locking up? I've been reading a lot of user reviews on several sites about the Sony Blu-Ray players and the biggest complaint seems to be the loading tray locks up a lot; several have posted they couldn't get their discs out for days. If that is a major problem with Sony's Blu-Ray players what other brand or brands of Blu-Ray players should I consider? My HDTV set which I bought last Christmas is an LG Model LF500B 32" LED HDTV which I've been very pleased with. It's not a smart set; only has 720p 60Hz but I've been very happy so far with my new set.”

• There is an update that fixes the loading tray lock. There are several ways to update including using a USB stick if you don't have WiFi.

• I've had no problems with my player locking up.

• No problems here with tray lock up. Perhaps power on and off, or change the batteries in the remote.
