Can I use streaming apps like Hulu or Disney plus null

No.. those apps are not available.. they have netflix, tubi, youtube, vudu . Doesn't appear that they update apps much.. if just concerned with streaming apps I would say go with a roku or firestick and just pick this up for playing disks.
