I think it could help. It doesn't seem to amplifi it to much but if the mics are facing towards the person you're speaking with it does help cancel out other background noise. I hope that helps you out.

It does not amplify all nearby sounds. We also don't recommend these in-ear headphones as an alternative for hearing aid.
