Hi, BeatFan!

These are compatible with iPod Nano (7th gen). When you pair a second or subsequent device (your iPod Nano), put the headset in both ears, then hold your fingers to the touch sensors on both the left and right units for about 7 seconds. You will hear voice guidance “Bluetooth pairing” from the left unit. Turn on the Bluetooth on your iPod and select [WF-1000XM3]. Hope this helps! -Sam

This may be a bit late, but you need to download the Sony headphone app to use these earbuds.

They would not pair with my iPod nano either. But they paired with my Android phone. A cheap wireless earbuds paired with the nano no problem. It would also not pair with a hires music player. So I am just using my phone.
