Hi EltonH, Thank you so much for your inquiry! The WF-1000XM4 is water resistant for everyday use. With an IPX4 water-resistance rating, splashes and sweat won’t stop these headphones.

I have not used the Sony WF-1000XM4 while working out, or getting moisture from sweat or rain on the earbuds. Sony earbuds do have any IPX4 rating against moisture, and they do state that the earbuds are not waterproof. Overall, the WF-1000XM4 are excellent.

These are ipx4 rated so it can handle light splashes and sweat, BUT!!! with the foam tips and no wings, you may have to adjust at times. And I wouldn't get them to sweaty. These are more of a luxury earbud. Keep I'm mind however, everyone's ears are different so try them out 1st to be sure.
