In most cases yes. Depending on how your setup is. My upstairs neighbor is the same, and I rarely, if at all, notice it. You will notice vibrations though if your building shakes a little like mine. My kid can run through the living room pretty loudly and it cuts most of it out.

The noise-cancelling function of the WH-1000XM4 is effective in low-frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices.
