“These headphones say they compatible with iPhone and iPod, but doesn’t mention iPad. Wouldn’t they still connect to an iPad through the Bluetooth?”

I was able to connect my to my MacBook and my Phone without any problem — toggling between them. I don’t see why an iPad would give you any problems. It’s a standard Bluetooth connection.
