• A:Answer I have a pair of Bose QuietComfort 25, which is the older, wired version and I found the Sony to be about equivalent to the Bose for their active noise canceling ability. I am very impressed with both manufacturer's product and I think you would be happy with either one.

• A:Answer Hi, Danthedog! If your TV supports Bluetooth connectivity for headphones, or if your TV has an input jack for headphones, then it should work. This unit doesn't come with a charger. However, you can use the supplied micro-USB cable and a USB AC adaptor(not supplied) to charge the headset. -Sam

Q: QuestionIs this wireless and can this be used with a Samsung T.V?

• A:Answer They are not wireless, in that they are not meant to work over a home's wireless local area network (wifi). They are wireless, in that they are blue-tooth. So, you have to be able to connect to a device (mobile device, TV, smart-device, etc.) that supports blue-tooth. The distance limit between that device and the headphones, once paired/connected, is 33 feet. I have mine paired with my Samsung KS8000 TV, and they work great. Only downfall: everytime I turn the TV on, i have to power on the headphones, then go into the TV's audio sound output settings to change from TV speaker to bluetooth. Then, click connect. Takes all about 10 seconds; but I just wished they would see each other and just start working when I power them on. No need to pair them each time, just to change TV's sound output settings to bluetooth. Check your Samsung's sound settings in the settings menu. See if you can change/toggle output between TV speaker, external speaker, bluetooth. Can also search the internet for your specific model and bluetooth sound. If your TV supports bluetooth sound, these should work.

Q: QuestionI am shopping for noise canceling earphones, to use primarily during long airplane trips. I had a bad experience last year where crying babies kept me up for the entire trip. Will these earphones allow me to reduce the ambient noise?

Q: QuestionWhy don't these headphones come with a case? Anyone know where one can get a case for them? Seems a little ridiculous that you drop 2 hundred on these and no case comes with it.

• A:Answer A case is a must buy if you invested. An ear pad fell off of mine in the airport without me noticing. After a month's worth of calling Sony and scouring the world for a replacement, I found that you cannot buy ear pad replacements for this unit. Proceed with care if you cannot find a case!

• A:Answer I picked these up Thanksgiving night, sealed. No, they do not come with a carrying case. Inside the box are the headphones, 2 cables and fold out instructions (which also can be downloaded via the Sony website) . Cables: A USB charging cable and a 3.5mm headphone cable/jack if you wish to use it as wired headphones.

• A:Answer If the model iPod you have is capable of broadcasting in Bluetooth, then you do not need the provided mini-jack cord. However, if your iPod does not connect/pair to other devices the way that smart phones do, then you will have to use the cord to get the signal into the Headphones.

• A:Answer If the TV has a Bluetooth transmitter they will work fine, if not you will need to purchase a transmitter/ receiver......pretty cheap...plugs in the headphone hole on the TV or use rga plugs ....they even make rechargeable ones. I have the Aluratek Model ABC01F from Best buy for around 20.00 and I love it works awesome does 2 headsets at once too.

• A:Answer I recently traveled on airplanes and my unit worked perfectly while using my bluetooth connection to my iPad for music. I did ask the Flight Attendant if it was permissible to use the bluetooth before I used it. I tried to use it for the movie but had a little trouble with it using the jack on the plane. But I think that was more about me moving around and hitting it with my side than anything. When I was attempting to use it in the jack, I was on Bolivian Air so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. You can change the volume with the button on the right side of the unit or the volume control of whatever unit you are connecting to. Not sure about with Samsung TVt portion of your question.
