No, this unit only connects to its transmitter (supplied). It can only be charged by the transmitter.

You can plug into an I phone 6, the charging base has to be plugged into a 110 volt outlet, the sound cable from the charging dock will fit into the I phone, then head set is wireless. The sound cable is only about 3 ft long, I phone would have to be close to the charging dock.
