“My sister just bought these headphones & hoped to pair them to her iPad like my husband does to his 700N model but we have had no success. Is it possible or not? thanks”

Hi quiltsick, Thank you for the inquiry! These headphones are specifically built for television. You cannot pair any mobile device to these headphones wirelessly.
