“I connected to the L/R output on my LG TV and am not getting any sound. The light will blink green for 4 minutes and then go away. My TV only has a setting for audio out for devices connected to the Optical Digital Audio out or HDMI IN (ARC) port. Help.”

Had this same issue. Removed L/R connection splitter and inserted into cable into the "Audio Out" port below the ARC port (see photos attached). This is a Samsung but would imagine most televisions provide the same options.

I'm not a geek so am clueless and due to the shelter in place I can have no one in to help me. Hopefully you have a friend that is technology savvy and can help you once we're open to life again.
