• My wife and I each have one and they work fine so I suppose you can plug in as many as you want

• I would imagine only one per headset stand. This we use in our condo in FL - and only have the one.. However, back home in NJ I have a couple of older versions (without headset-stands/cradles) and they all work together - ie two head phones per transmitter.
