Yes if the phones are not on the charging tower. But the will hold the charge for a week or so.

I did not find any whistling, whining, popping, or discharge when power was cycled on this device, the television, or the sound bar that I routed this through. *** make sure that your equipment is properly grounded and attached to a functioning, new (3 years or so) power strip; this is the most common cause of audio/ equipment discharge ***
