Yes if the phones are not on the charging tower. But the will hold the charge for a week or so.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When the headphones are properly seated on the transmitting dock the headphones are shut off (you can verify this by watching the green light on the headphones going off!) thereby saving the batteries from discharging in the headset.

I did not find any whistling, whining, popping, or discharge when power was cycled on this device, the television, or the sound bar that I routed this through. *** make sure that your equipment is properly grounded and attached to a functioning, new (3 years or so) power strip; this is the most common cause of audio/ equipment discharge ***
