• No. Return this headset. The Best Buy salesman said most of these are returned for many reasons. They are now priced at $99 from the $119 at introduction. See my review. The Insignia NS-HAWHP2 has copper wired input and Optical input. Both can be used if you have two devices, such as the television and computer. $109 at Best Buy.

• probably not . unless you have some kind of adapter. I connected directly to cable box but it doesn't work for my dvd player unless I hook up different.

• Just above my optical/digital audio output I have an Audio output. It only comes with the plug for an audio output. It does have great sound.
