Make sure you charge the headphones for a good while maybe 8 or more hours, also if you have the simple audio headphone plug on the tv try the single plug wire from the speaker base to the tv. Good luck ,, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought these headphones for my Sony TV, thinking compatibility would be no problem. I had purchased the Sony TV last January and it had technology that I am not so familiar with. (Sadly, the older I get, the more technologically challenged I become.) I used the audio cable, not the RCA's, and the headphones worked for a while. Suddenly they went silent. I tried everything; unplug and replug, another device (they worked), but was unable to get them to work on my Sony TV so I called the Geek Squad. Unfortunately and to my shame, the guy was here ~5 minutes. It turned out that the TV had a separate volume control for headphones that had somehow muted. Now, I don't know if you have a similar situation or not, but thought I would share my experience.
