• The Sony connection is analog only. RCA left & right with an adapter to 3.5mm plug. No optical connection.

• Hi JimEd, Currently, these headphones cannot be plugged into an optical port, it can only support a 3.5mm headphone jack connection and RCA type connection. Though, we can recommend you this model that will support optical type connection which is the WH-L600. Hope it helps! Regards, Sam
