You have to go into tv settings and make sure they are recognized by the TV Then go yo settings on TV go to speakers click on that and look for headphones, when you find them on your. TV Adjust sound on them from the t v make sure you can adjust sound from TV remote and then from the control on the headphone set. My husband walks al, over the house listening to tv while I watch the tv! They are excellent sounds complicated but it very easy to do, You won’t mess the TV up just try it and see
