It could be the age of your phone. I had the same problem with my previous phone...tried everything I could think of. Then I realized that changes had been made to Bluetooth technology. With my newer phone ( now a year old ) the problem has gone away. Phone is currently the S 7 Edge.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found that taking my phone a short distance away from it ended the static or skipping. I had the speaker pair with the 30. And place them about 10 ft apart in an outdoor setting and placed my phone approximately 6ft away in between the two speakers
