Q: Questionhi an thank you,how can make this sytem volume higher than 13
Asked by joe.
- A:Answer Hi joe, Thank you for your inquiry. While the Sony SRS-XB700 is operating on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, it is possible for the sound to become low if the battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction. If the sound becomes low during use, it is recommended that you adhere to the following procedure: Turn off the speaker and sufficiently charge the built-in battery to restore the device's optimal performance. Turn off the speaker. Charge the built-in battery sufficiently. Hope this helps! Q: QuestionWhat is the watts output on the XP500? I was not able to find on specifications. Greatly appreciated any help
Asked by Pedro.
- A:Answer Hi Pedro, Thanks for your inquiry! Unfortunately, the wattage of this speaker is not a public specification that we disclose at this time, and here is why. Watts tells an incomplete story when judging a speaker’s performance. To be more accurate you would need to know the watts, the dB rating, and frequency range (Hz) of all the speakers in the unit. Also, the distortion (THD) rate and the number of speakers driven for the rating of watts presented on the box. Yes, those things are not standardized. Then do some math, and you will get a general understanding of the loudness and range of the speaker in question. Then do that for all the different companies and you could compare with specs, though even if they were equal, they may sound different due to processing. At Sony we try to give you the absolute best sounding speaker, that has all the features our customers have told us really matter to them. Hope this helps! The XP500 combines superb sound with plenty of party features to make it a fun and versatile speaker. With Powerful Party Sound by the X-Balanced Speaker Unit and the front high-efficiency tweeter, it sends out rich, clear, and high-quality sound. It is perfect for parties, inside or outside the home, has plenty of battery life, is IPX4 Water-resistant, and has an easy-to-use handle for moving from one party to the next. Regards, Sam

Q: QuestionJust wanting to confirm couple questions: Can I connect a microphone wirelessly to this speaker? Also, when having two speakers connected to each other wirelessly, does the sound from a microphone get sent from both speakers simultaneously?
Asked by Golfer.
- A:Answer Hi Golfer, Thank you for your interest in our XP500. If your Wireless Mic uses a standard 1/4" plug and has its own receiver, it should work. But you cannot connect via Bluetooth to a microphone. When using the Party Connect or Stereo Pair function, sound from the microphone is only output from the speaker to which the microphone is connected. By downloading Fiestable app, you can also enjoy various Karaoke features, such as Voice Changer, Echo, Key Control, etc. Hope this helps! Regards, Jess

Q: QuestionDoes it work with a condenser microphone or only dynamic ?
Asked by Badger.

Q: QuestionWe are interested in connecting 2 of these speakers to have music playing throughout our space. Is there a maximum distance they can be apart and still be connected to play the same music without any lag? Also, what is the best way to connect them?
Asked by Cece.
- A:Answer The longest a friend and I tested the distance between our speakers was 80 feet it was in a parking garage, pretty far and no lag, make sure the speakers are in full charge tho they tend to lag at 10% battery and the best way to connect them is with the Sony music center, make sure they up to date and have your phone close to the speakers
